A selection of live recordings that have gathered over the years we’ve been active as a band. Also includes two tracks taken from the „homecoming“ show at Nienburg’s Burnout Festival in 2022 with Sebastian on drums, and one track taken from 1998's reunion show. There will be more stuff to come from the Burnout set, and there are plans to publish videos of that show later.

Hi!

We are Genial Rusty City, a punk rock trio from Northern Germany.

Our weird name is based on a dictionary phrase misheard by our bass player, the band was founded while we were still in high school, and our most outstanding achievement to date is a 24-year long hiatus, which ended in June 2022.

The 2023 lineup features Sebastian on drums/vocals, Marco on bass and Martin on guitar/vocals. ... more
